BT Young Scientists 2010

Congratulations to Jerome Muldoon, Conor Hamill and Conor Martin. Who, won 1st Prize in the Sioner Category of the BT Young Scientists of the Year 2010 of the Biological and Ecological Sciences.

We are also delighted to announc that Jerome, Conor Martin & Conor Hamill selected for the BT Business of Science & Technology Programme.
This consists of:

• 40 Students
• 11 Business & Industry Mentors
• 4 Days of training in entrepreurship, at the Science Gallery, Dublin.
• Working in teams, with Professor Wendy Kennedy - www.wendykennedy.com
• Developing parctical business knowledge.
• Turning innovative ideas into commercial opportunities.

All the students selected will come together for a 4 day training in February and March. The top performers will be invited to participate in summer internships with an Irish University.

Friday May 29th - All Ireland Basketball Coaches Receive Presentation from Team

Below are pictured U14 Basketball coaches Colm McEneaney and Sheila Quinn receiving their All Ireland medals and a trophy from grateful members of the team. The team made High School history by reaching the All Ireland Final this year.

Friday 29th May - Dobre szczes'cie w przyszlos'ci - St Arnold's Bid Farewell to Kamil

A fond farewell to 1st Yr Kamil who returns to Poland with his family this summmer. Kamil made many friends in his year at the High School and we wish him well in the future. Keep in touch Kamil.

Thursday May 28th - 1st Year Chess Final

Congratulations to Cosmin Mircea who defeated Colm MacAoidh in yesterday's Chess final. Cosmin wins €100 while Colm takes home €45.
